HIB Book Club

The Himalayan Institute of Buffalo Book Club

In the Fall of 2023, HIB launched its Book Club led by Kandy Svec and Mary Jo Pfeiffer. This robust group of reading enthusiasts meets monthly on Friday afternoons at the center to discuss both fiction and nonfiction. It all began with members putting their favorite book titles into a hat and drawing the monthly selections. We want to share what we’ve been reading to date, along with the list of contenders that didn’t make it out of the hat… yet. If you love to read and appreciate good company, lively conversation, and tasty snacks, please join us! Information on registration can be found on our webpage under “workshops”.

Stay tuned for the 2025 Summer reading selections - coming soon!
